PAULS VALLEY, Okla. - Pauls Valley police are investigating after a body was found inside a home earlier this week.

The victim has not yet been identified, but police are ruling the death a homicide.

The body was found Monday afternoon in a home, located in the 700 block of North Oak.

Several neighbors tell NewsChannel 4 a man by the name of Jack Brown lives in the home.

"There was a violent crime that took place inside the home," said Chief Mitch McGill, with Pauls Valley Police. "Talking to the detectives, there's no doubt it was definitely a homicide."

Kathleen Horn lived next to the victim and was home when his son made the discovery.

"He came back banging on my door saying, 'Call 911. I found my dad," Horn said. "I was freaked out. I didn't know what to do."

Police issued an arrest warrant for Kent Brown on Tuesday in connection with the homicide.

Kent was taken into custody in Los Angeles on a first-degree murder complaint.

OSBI is assisting in the case.
