MESA, Ariz. — A mother was arrested after allegedly beating up a 16-year-old boy after finding him in bed with her teenage daughter.

According to ABC 15, Jeanette Woods, 36, found the boy in her 16-year-old daughter’s bed after the two reportedly had consensual sex.

The teen fell asleep and was then awoken by Woods punching him in the face, the boy told police.

Woods allegedly continued to strike the boy’s face and body.

Eventually, he was able to break free and run from the home, ABC 15 reports.

The teen left his belongings and his car at Woods’ home.

Court documents say Woods then took a bat to the 16-year-old boy’s car, causing $5,300 worth of damage.

She then reportedly moved the car down the street.

Woods has been charged with criminal damage, felony car theft, and misdemeanor assault.

Woods told ABC 15 that she did not know the boy before the assault.
