TISHOMINGO, Okla. -- It's all the buzz around town. The folks of Tishomingo are used to seeing Blake Shelton, but it's Gwen Stefani people are talking about; they say her appearance is putting Tish on the map once again.

"She was trying to be in disguise, but Gwen walking in in camouflage, and you could tell right then she wasn't a hunter," Wade Don Wood, resident of Tishomingo, said.

Wade was at Gonzalez Mexican Restaurant with his family Monday night when the well-known Voice judges went in to eat. He says Stefani stuck out like a sore thumb.

"When you see somebody like that, so famous, walk into out town, it's just a shocking deal right here in little old town of Tishomingo," he said.

The edgy musician, recognized for being the lead singer of No Doubt, recently posted a video of Blake giving her lots of kisses in front of a shaky camera.

"Everybody in Tishomingo has a story about how they have met a celebrity, be it Blake Shelton or Miranda Lambert, Trace Adkins... " NonDoc Writer Tiara Blue said.

Blue said she's never the pleasure of meeting one of the big names in town...until now.

"I've always viewed it as kind of like, unicorn sightings...I really wanted to believe and I really one, but I never have...Until a couple of days ago" she said.

Beyond checking that off her list, Blue says this is a sign of economic growth.

"I think it's really interesting that somebody who's not a part of the country music scene is right here in Tishomingo. Maybe next time they can bring Adam Levine," Blue said.

Marla McCandless had to be filled in about who was previously in the booth she was eating in. She was surprised, to say the least.

"I'm just overwhelmed! I can't believe I'm sitting where Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were sitting, oh my god!" McCandless said. "I love The Voice!"

NewsChannel 4 reporter Ashley Kringen reached out to the stars on Twitter. So far, they have not gotten back to her.
