Oklahoma father, son disarm and hold armed robbery suspect for police

TULSA, Okla. – Authorities say a teenager is in custody after he allegedly tried to rob a man and his son in Tulsa.

Police were called to a convenience store just after 6 p.m. on Tuesday following an attempted robbery.

According to KOKI, the suspect came out of the store as another man and his son were walking through the doors.

However, the suspect allegedly pointed a gun at the man’s chest and demanded money.

At that point, the father and son fought the suspect for the gun and held him until officers arrived.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

The 16-year-old suspect was arrested for attempted armed robbery.
