Sooner Linebacker, Dominique Alexander Declares For NFL Early

OU junior linebacker Dominique Alexander announced through his twitter account that he would leave OU a year early to enter the NFL draft on Saturday morning, January 2.

Here's the tweet that Alexander posted to his account:

Alexander led the Sooners in tackles the last two seasons and started in 34 games over his three-year college career.

The Tulsa Washington grad racked up 103 tackles this last season, with 7 tackles for a loss and 1.5 sacks.

He's the second Sooner in as many days to leave OU for the NFL early.

OU redshirt junior cornerback Zack Sanchez also declared for the NFL draft via his twitter account on Friday, January 1.
