OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews were on scene of a natural gas line break near an Oklahoma City elementary school Wednesday morning.

Fire officials say a construction team hit a 4-inch medium flusher line near N.W. 45th and Western.

This is near Horace Mann Elementary School.

Officials say the school was not in danger.

The immediate area was evacuated and traffic was closed off.

After almost two hours, crews were able to get the line shut off.

Officials say traffic in the area is back to normal.
