LAWTON, Okla. — Police are searching for a man in connection with an attempted robbery at the Cork, Cap and Brew Liquor Store.

A hooded man entered the liquor store in the 4500 block of SE Lee Blvd. around 8:40 p.m. Tuesday morning.

Police say he started waving a yellow box cutter over the counter while demanding money.

Another employee was armed and pointed the gun at the suspect, reports say.

That’s allegedly when the suspect took off running and got into dark colored vehicle.

Authorities say this robbery does not appear to be related to the Pawn Shop Robbery earlier in the week.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall and 210 pounds. If you have any information about this crime, please call Crime Stoppers at 580-355-INFO.
