Numerous high school basketball tournaments tipped off around the state on Thursday, January 7.

Edmond Memorial took down Norman 59-53 to advance in the 56th annual McGuinness Classic.

Memorial big man Kristian Doolittle, and Sooners basketball signee, scored 31 points in the win.

Memorial plays Edmond Santa Fe at 6 p.m. Friday, January 8.

Putnam City West downed rival Putnam City 76-72 in the 17th annual Putnam City Invitational.

Lenny Bert's Patriots face off against Sunrise Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night.

Westmoore handled the OKC Knights 96-23 to advance in the 28th annual Lady Jaguar Classic.

The Lady Jaguars take on Mustang Friday at 6 p.m.
