Town hall meeting about Edmond earthquakes scheduled for Thursday

EDMOND, Okla. – The dramatic increase in earthquake activity over the past few weeks in Edmond has many residents concerned.

Now, several residents will be able to voice their concerns during a town hall meeting on Thursday.

Jeremy Boak, the director of the Oklahoma Geological Survey, will serve as the primary speaker of the event.

Also, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation and the Army Corps of Engineers will also have speakers present.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, Jan. 14 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in Ballroom A& B at the Nigh Center on the campus of the University of Central Oklahoma.
