UPDATE: Norman Park Evacuated After Suspicious Package Found

UPDATE: The all clear has been given at Northeast Lions Park.

Police say, they found a container with a threatening message. After investigation, police found there to be no harm to the area.


NORMAN, OKLA. - The Norman Police Department has evacuated Northeast Lions Park at 1800 N. Cliff Avenue after reports of a suspicious package.

Along with Norman Police, the Hazardous Devices Unit was called in  to investigate.

Nearby homeowners have been notified, according to Norman Police.

Officials are not evacuating neighborhoods at this time.
