On Tuesday, Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska governor, formally endorsed Donald Trump for president.

“I’m proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president,” Palin said in a statement to NBC News.

When Palin was Sen. John McCain’s running mate in his 2008 bid for the White House, she fired up some aspects of the Republican party while repelling others.

Do you think Palin’s endorsement helps or hurts Trump’s campaign?
