Thunder Down Denver For Five in a Row

The Oklahoma City Thunder overcame a slow start to take control in the second quarter and beat the Denver Nuggets 110-104 on Tuesday night, January 19, at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

The Thunder won their fifth straight game overall and their fifth in a row over the Nuggets.

Kevin Durant led all scorers with 30 points and had 12 rebounds.

Russell Westbrook had 27 points and 12 assists.

Enes Kanter contributed 25 points off the bench, hitting 10 of 14 shots from the field.

The Thunder trailed by six after one quarter, but outscored Denver 32-22 in the second quarter and and took the lead for good midway through the third quarter.

OKC improved to 31-12 on the season and return home on Wednesday night, January 20 to host Charlotte at 7:00 pm at Chesapeake Arena.
