Durant/Westbrook to Start All-Star Game

Thunder forward Kevin Durant and guard Russell Westbrook were both named starters for the Western Conference in February’s NBA All-Star Game.

The Thunder are the only team in the NBA with two players named starters.

Durant earned almost a million votes, which was third among the voting, and is slated to make his seventh all-star appearance and fifth start.

Russell Westbrook picked up more than 772,000 votes, which was fifth most in the voting process. Westbrook is making his fifth appearance in an all-star game while it’s his first ever start.

The 68th NBA All-Star Game is Sunday, February 14th in Toronto.
