January 27th, 2001 was a day the OSU campus promised they would never forget. And they haven't.

15 years have passed since ten men associated with the OSU men's basketball team lost their lives in a plane crash near Strasburg, Colorado.

The team was flying back in three separate planes to Stillwater after a loss at Colorado University, when the twin-engine Beechcraft Super King Air 200 crashed at 6:37 p.m.

And at 6:37 p.m. Wednesday night, the campus library will toll the bells ten times in remembrance of each man.

There will also be a moment of silence at 7:45 p.m. before tip off inside the arena.

Later tonight, OSU tips off with Baylor at 8 p.m., when the Cowboys will be wearing uniforms similar to those worn back in 2001.

Former coach Eddie Sutton, along with many former players, will also be in attendance.

OSU's Memorial Lobby at Gallagher-Iba Arena will be open all day Wednesday for those who would like to pay their respects.

As pictured:  Nate Fleming, Daniel Lawson, Jared Weiberg, Pat Noyes, Will Hancock, Bjorn Fahlstrom, Bill Teegins, Kendall Durfey, Denver Mills, and Brian Luinstra.

Will Hancock was OSU's Athletic Media Relations Coordinator at the time of the crash. He had an infant daughter, Andrea, who was just two-months-old.

Andrea is now 15 and shares this beautiful 'thank you' with OSU's OColly for remembering the father she barely knew, yet feels close to him by the memories shared from her father's friends and colleagues.
