BLAINE COUNTY – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Logan County man who has a violent criminal history.

The Blaine County District Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Blake Scruggs for the first-degree murder of 18-year-old Caylee Massey.

Authorities say Scruggs shot and killed Massey inside a pickup truck as they were driving to Canton from Oklahoma City in October.

The 23-year-old is also accused of nearly beating a man to death about two weeks before he allegedly killed Massey.

He has served time in prison for a list of crimes, including burglary and animal cruelty.

Some law enforcement officials told NewsChannel 4 that he is possibly one of the most dangerous individuals they have dealt with.

Deputies say Blake is a threat to the public and hope to locate him soon.
