Arrest warrant issued for Logan County man with violent criminal history
BLAINE COUNTY – An arrest warrant has been issued for a Logan County man who has a violent criminal history.
The Blaine County District Attorney’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Blake Scruggs for the first-degree murder of 18-year-old Caylee Massey.
Authorities say Scruggs shot and killed Massey inside a pickup truck as they were driving to Canton from Oklahoma City in October.
The 23-year-old is also accused of nearly beating a man to death about two weeks before he allegedly killed Massey.
He has served time in prison for a list of crimes, including burglary and animal cruelty.
Some law enforcement officials told NewsChannel 4 that he is possibly one of the most dangerous individuals they have dealt with.
Deputies say Blake is a threat to the public and hope to locate him soon.
