Top Ranked Sooners Cruise Past TCU

#1 ranked Oklahoma had six players score in double figures as they rolled to a 95-72 win over TCU on Tuesday night, February 2, at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman.

Buddy Hield led OU with 17 points and made three 3-pointers, while Jordan Woodard had 14 points, and Isaiah Cousins 13.

Oklahoma’s other two starters also scored in double figures, with Ryan Spangler scoring 11 with 11 rebounds, and Khadeem Lattin had 10 points.

Freshman Christian James had a career high 12 points off the bench.

Oklahoma shot 51 percent from the field and took control of the game early with an 8-0 run.

The Sooners were below their season percentage from three-point range, but still went 11-for-30 beyond the arc.

OU led 52-33 at halftime and coasted in the second half.

The Sooners improved to 19-2 overall,  and 7-2 in Big 12 play.

The win gives OU sole possession of first place in the Big 12 standings.

The Sooners next visit Kansas State for a 5:00 tipoff this Saturday, February 6.
