Fire crews called to house fire in southwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews were called to a single story house fire in southwest Oklahoma City Thursday morning.

A home in the 600 block of S.W. 51st caught fire around 7:30 a.m.

When fire crews arrived on scene, they saw flames and smoke pouring from the back of the home.

Fortunately, no one was found inside when crews checked the home.

After about 20 minutes, firefighters were able to contain the fire.

No word on what caused the fire at this time.
