OKLAHOMA CITY – It is National Weatherperson’s Day!

National Weatherperson’s day commemorates the birth of John Jeffries in 1744.  He is one of America’s first weather observers.

On February 5th, we recognize the men and women who collectively provide Americans with the best weather, water, and climate forecasts and warning services of any nation.

We have some of the best meteorologists in the business making sure you have your 4Warned forecast.

They are always there when the weather is severe and when it is sunny.

Tag KFOR and KFOR’s meteorologists on Facebook and Twitter with #NationalWeatherPersonDay and join us in saying thanks!
