Oklahoma City police identify victims killed in double homicide

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police have identified the two victims killed in a double homicide this week.

Police say Chameeka Harris, 26, and Kendre Smith, 25, were both shot to death in northeast Oklahoma City.

Just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, police say they received a check-the-welfare call in the 2500 block of N.E. 23rd.

When officers arrived, they found Smith and Harris inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds.

Authorities say Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

Harris was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead.

So far, no arrests have been made in the case.
