Barry J. Sanders, the son of the former Oklahoma State Heisman Trophy winner, is transferring from Stanford to OSU and will be able to play next season for the Cowboys.

Sanders is scheduled to graduate from Stanford, and will be immediately eligible to play as a graduate transfer.

Sanders was a star at Heritage Hall High School in Oklahoma City and his college choices came down to Stanford and OSU.

He chose the Cardinal, but did not play much, backing up Heisman Trophy finalist Christian McCaffrey the last two seasons.

Sanders rushed for 664 yards and five touchdowns in three seasons at Stanford.
