Thunder Get Randy Foye In Trade With Denver

The Oklahoma City Thunder have acquired Denver guard Randy Foye from the Denver Nuggets, plus a trade exception,  in exchange for cash considerations, D.J. Augustin, Steve Novak, and two second round draft picks, the Thunder’s this year, and Charlotte’s this year that OKC acquired as part of the Jeremy Lamb trade.

Foye is averaging 6 points a game this year for the Nuggets.

Augustin’s playing time has decreased this year because of the improved play of rookie Cameron Payne.

Novak has not played much at all this season.

Foye is in his 10th year in the NBA and the Thunder will be his sixth team.

He’s played for the Nuggets for the last three seasons.

Foye played at Villanova in college and was the Big East Player of the Year as a senior.
