Oklahoma City woman arrested for child neglect after passing out at Whataburger

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. –

An Oklahoma City woman was arrested for child neglect and public drunkenness after she passed out unresponsive in the drive-thru of Whataburger .

Lameisha Dion Henderson, 28, was responsive when Oklahoma City Police Officers  arrived on the scene after being assisted by EMSA paramedics, according to the police report.

Henderson was slurring her speech, police said.

After Henderson was arrested by officers, she mentioned her kids were at home with her sister. Henderson then told officers she was apologetic, but had left her kids home alone, police said.

Officers went to Henderson’s residence and found two children, two and three-years-old. The children were taken into custody by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, police said.

Henderson is currently in custody at Oklahoma County Jail with bond set at $10,000.
