BALTIMORE, Md. – Surgery can be a scary ordeal for anybody, including animals.

A puppy, named Meesha, was coming off her anesthesia from surgery and was a little scared “because her body felt so weird.”

Instead of leaving her alone, BARCS Surgical Assistant Dennis Moses decided to take her to a quiet hallway and comfort her.

The moment was captured by a volunteer at the animal shelter and was posted to Facebook.

In just three days, the video was viewed more than 7 million times.

In case you were wondering, Meesha was adopted and is settling in with her new family.
