Tulsa native Kata Hay appears as a contestant on “The Voice”

TULSA, Okla. –A Tulsa native is taking the stage tonight on the tenth season of “The Voice

Kata Hay will audition will air during the second night of blind auditions, according to KJRH. She is  country singer originally from Tulsa, Okla., currently residing in Knoxville, Tenn.

She will perform a cover of Gretchen Wilson‘s “Redneck Woman.”

Hay has competed in a variety of singing and talent competitions, according to her website.

  • Becoming a hall of fame inductee of the Oklahoma Opry
  • Winning  Ed McMahon’s Star Search at 5-years-old
  • Winning five International Yodeling Championships
