OKLAHOMA CITY - A suspect who shot a 19-year-old to death at a southeast Oklahoma City apartment complex is still on the loose.

Around 1:20 p.m., on March 6, police were called to the Chapelridge Apartments in the 5700 block of S.E. 48th St. on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they located Kentrelle Buxton lying on the upper landing of a stairwell within the complex.

Police say Buxton suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police that they heard Buxton arguing with a man before the shooting.

A dark-colored vehicle, unknown make and model, was seen leaving the complex right after the shooting.

An arrest warrant was issued for Jacob Goins, who police allege was with Buxton when he was shot.

Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide tip-line at (405)297-1200.

This is Oklahoma City's 13th homicide of 2016.
