OKLAHOMA CITY - Officials are investigating a suspicious fire in southwest Oklahoma City.

Around 2:30 a.m. Monday, fire crews were called to reports of a house fire in the 300 block of S.W. 38th.

Officials with the Oklahoma City Fire Department say they could see flames shooting from the home from blocks away.

When crews arrived, the home was fully involved.

The houses directly on the right and left side of the structure also have fire damage to the sidings of their homes.

Officials say the fire caused about $40,000 in damage.

Fortunately, no one was home at the time of the fire.

Neighbors say the residents of the home moved out about two weeks ago.
