Moore Public Schools investigating inappropriate student-teacher relationship

MOORE, Okla. –Moore Public Schools is investigating an alleged inappropriate relationship between a student and a teacher.

Administrators learned of the incident Friday, March 4, according to a statement issued by Moore Public Schools.

The allegation included reports of an incident between the two that occurred off of campus.

Administrators noted the details of the allegation are “disturbing.”

Administrators contacted the Moore Police Department and provided them information about the incident.

The teacher has been placed on administrative leave while administrators investigate the incident.

Jeremy Lewis, with the Moore Police Department, confirmed that the department is investigating the relationship.

However, no other information is being released at this time.

So far, no arrests have been made.
