BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – Police officers in Oklahoma are hoping to reunite a lost turkey with its owner.

The Broken Arrow Police Department released a video Thursday of a beautiful turkey that is currently at the local animal shelter.

According to KOKI, an anonymous caller reported the turkey to animal control Thursday morning.

Animal control then went to pick up the turkey and drop it off at the shelter.

Officials told KOKI that the turkey is very tame and gentle, which leads them to believe it is a pet.

If you happen to know who the turkey belongs to, please call the Broken Arrow Animal Shelter at (918)259-8311.
