City council approves completion of American Indian Cultural Center and Museum

OKLAHOMA CITY – The Oklahoma City council has approved the completion of the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum.

Tuesday, the council voted to enter an agreement with the state to both financially finish and operate AICCM.

According to a presentation, the two agreements included were:

  • The Completion and Real Estate Purchase and Sale Agreement
  • The Management, Maintenance and Operations Agreement

The agreement will cost the city approximately $9 million.

The Chickasaw Nation also offered a proposal to help with the project.
