TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa police say a good Samaritan was shot by the man he was trying to help early Tuesday morning.
Around 2 a.m., police say a man was driving to the store when he saw another man walking in Tulsa County.
When the driver pulled over to offer the walking man a ride, police say the man pulled a gun on the driver.
That is when the victim tried to grab the gun and was shot in the hand, KOKI reports.
The alleged gunman then ran away. No description of the suspect has been given at this time.
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Authorities are investigating.
