Hours-long standoff comes to an end in Newalla

NEWALLA, Okla. - An hours-long standoff came to an end in Newalla overnight.

Around 6:30 p.m. Monday, authorities say they went to a home in the 20500 block of S.E. 93rd after receiving reports of criminal activity.

However, officials say that man refused to answer the door.

The man then barricaded himself inside the home.

Officials say a tactical team was called to the scene.

Although it is unclear at this time what happened inside the home, KFOR crews captured video of what looks to be someone's body being taken out of the house.
