OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities have released the name of the person wanted for the murder of an Oklahoma City man.

Around lunch time on March 11, folks in northeast Oklahoma City heard a hail of gunfire.

Police say a man was shot to death in the parking lot of “The Corner Market” near N.E. 18th and Martin Luther King Avenue.

Witnesses, who asked not to go on camera for fear of retaliation, say the victim was struck at least five times.

Authorities don’t know why an argument inside the convenience store escalated so quickly.

“This started out as an argument inside the convenience store. It spilled out into the parking lot between two men. One was armed with a gun, shot the other and fled in a vehicle,” Knight said.

Today, authorities identified the victim of the homicide as 26-year-old Keyatta Howell.

Police believe 30-year-old Brandon Douglas Wilson is responsible for the murder.

He is wanted for the charge of murder in the first degree.

If you have any information on Wilson’s whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
