Remembering the legendary photojournalist Darrell Barton

OKLAHOMA CITY- Photojournalist Darrell Barton was remembered by family, friends  and fans of his amazing work on Saturday.

Darrell Barton, 73, passed away last year following a brief illness.

Barton served as the chief photographer for KTVY-TV from 1969 to 1983.

He was a Marine Veteran who realized he had a passion for telling stories through the lens of a camera.

Eventually he worked for 60 Minutes, 48 Hours, Dateline and 20/20.

Photojournalists and reporters from across the country joined his family to remember his incredible life and talent.
