Grass fire in Edmond

EDMOND, Okla. – Oklahomans across the state are being warned about the high risk for wildfires.

On Wednesday afternoon, firefighters were called to a grass fire near Santa Fe and Covell in Edmond.

Fortunately, crews were able to get control of the fire quickly before it spread to other areas.

However, experts are still warning about the current conditions, which are making it easy for any fire that sparks to spread out of control.
