OKLAHOMA CITY – Firefighters and hazmat crews responded to reports of a mercury spill in southwest Oklahoma City Friday afternoon.

Initial reports indicate the spill occurred around 1:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of S. Morgan Rd.

Officials believe an old barometer broke, causing the spill.

KFOR crews are working to gather more information.
