Oklahoma City Dodgers hosting Free Easter Egg Hunt

OKLAHOMA CITY – Baseball fans here in Oklahoma City won’t have to wait too much longer to see the Dodgers play.

The fun starts this weekend with the “First Look Fan Fest.”

Alex Freedman with the Oklahoma City Dodgers stopped by NewsChannel 4 to talk with us more about the event.

"First Look Fan Fest" kicks off Saturday, March 26 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The event is open to the public, and admission and parking are free.

The festivities will begin with an Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30 a.m. in the outfield.

The hunt is open to all children ages 12 and younger, but all participants must register in advance here.

"First Look Fan Fest" will also feature the inaugural Dodger Dog eating contest at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The competition is open to fans 18 and older, and it will be limited to 10 participants, with men's and women's divisions.

10 a.m. - Gates open

10:30 a.m. - Easter Egg Hunt

11 a.m. - Autograph session with Manny Mota and Destinee Martinez

12 p.m. - High School Baseball Series: Coyle vs. Shidler

12:15 p.m. - Q&A session with team president Michael Byrnes, Manny Mota, and Destinee Martinez

1:30 p.m. - Dodger Dog eating competition

2 p.m. - "First Look Fan Fest" concludes
