TULSA, Okla. - An Oklahoma man decided that he wanted to make the love of his life his wife, so he planned a special proposal with her in mind.

Christian Hood says he and Alexis Ridenour have been dating for almost three years after meeting at the University of Central Oklahoma.

Hood is a graduate assistant football coach at the university, and Ridenour is a mass communications major.

Hood says he wanted the proposal to be a complete surprise to Ridenour, so he told her that he was creating a video for his mother's birthday.

"I decided to use a software program I have called After Effects to create the photo mosaic. It used 100 pictures of us two. My mom's birthday really was last Sunday so she believed my story that I was creating the video for my mom," Hood said.

On March 19, he asked if she wanted to watch the video before his mother's party.

As the video begins to play, Ridenour catches on to what is happening.

"What? This is not your mom's birthday," she says.

Fortunately, his hard work paid off when Ridenour said yes.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
