Second suspect arrested in Bartlesville murder

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — Police have arrested a second man in connection with a body found outside of Bartlesville.

Police arrested Derek Hamblin in connection with the murder of Kyler Holeman, according to KJRH.

Hamblin turned himself in Monday evening at the Tulsa County Jail. He is charged with first-degree murder.

Sheriff deputies arrested Scott Charles Offutt for first-degree murder on Saturday.

Deputies found Kyler Holeman, 21, on a rural road Thursday evening outside of Bartlesville.

Kyler was shot with a flare gun three times and stabbed more than 60 times, police said.
