MOORE, Okla. – School officials in Moore say they are investigating an incident that occurred at an elementary school on Wednesday.

Officials with the Moore Police Department say they were called to Apple Creek Elementary School on Wednesday after a woman went to the school and spoke about creating a video that showcased the dangers of talking to strangers.

Police say the woman told school officials that she wanted to film a fake kidnapping to show students the dangers of speaking with strangers.

School officials called police, who spoke with the woman and gave her a trespassing warning.

On Thursday, school officials sent a notice to parents about the situation, adding that the district is working with police to investigate the incident.

District officials say the woman has not been in contact with any students and extra safety measures have been implemented.
