Former Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford has requested a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, and did not show up for workouts today for the team, according to mulitple reports.

Last week the Eagles traded with the Cleveland Browns to move up to the second pick in this week’s NFL Draft, and are expected to draft a quarterback with that pick.

Bradford apparently didn’t care for that move, and wants out of Philadelphia, asking for a trade and informing the team he will not be showing up for offseason workouts.

Bradford signed a two-year contract with the Eagles earlier in the offseason after playing his first season with the team last year.

The Eagles are insisting Bradford is still their starting quarterback, and his salary makes a trade difficult to make.

The NFL Draft begins Thursday, April 28.
