OKLAHOMA CITY - The Oklahoma City Thunder is gearing up for Game 5 on Monday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena, hoping to come away with a win that will propel them into Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs.

On Monday, fans gathered just outside of the arena hours before the game in Love's Thunder Alley.

Thunder Alley has become a part of the tradition before playoff games with something for everyone.

Kids are invited to enjoy inflatables and other activities, while adults can stop by several booths including a beer garden.

Fans even took a moment to sign the graffiti wall, showing their support for the team.

Inside the arena, volunteers spent part of the day covering every chair with a blue t-shirt.

“You get a good workout on the stairs,” said David Walkup.

About 100 volunteers worked row by row Monday afternoon, covering the 18,203 seats and turning the arena Thunder blue.

“It gives us a connection to the playoff game, even if we can't go to the game tonight,” Walkup said.

“It's a wonderful tradition our fans love,” said Dan Mahoney with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

This is the 41st home playoff game to have the seats covered with t-shirts.

“It's a great way to come and Thunder Up and get ready for the game,” Mahoney said.

Thunder Alley is not just for those with a ticket.

It’s open to anyone who wants to come down for a little fun before the game.

Fans are expected to have a great time, hoping Monday night will be the final game in this series and the Thunder can head on to Round 2.

Love’s Thunder Alley is open before home playoff games on the street just to the north of Chesapeake Arena.

It opens each afternoon at 4 p.m. and closes when the game tips off.
