Moore schools announce weather plan for students

MOORE, Okla. – Moore Public Schools has released its weather plan in light of the severe weather that we expect to see this afternoon/evening.

The school district says it has been coordinating with the National Weather Service, local police, and the local fire department to come up with a plan.

School officials say they will excuse any absences after 12 p.m. Tuesday.

Parents are welcome to pick up their children as needed.

Officials say they will release students from school 30 minutes early.

All activities and after-school programs have also been cancelled.
