Truck catches fire after high-speed chase through the metro

OKLAHOMA CITY - A truck caught fire after a high-speed chase through the metro.

Around 12:30 a.m., an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper attempted to pull over a vehicle near S.W. 27th and Hudson for a traffic violation.

However, the driver refused to stop.

The suspect then led police on a high-speed chase with speeds reaching above 100 miles per hour.

We caught part of the chase on camera.

In the video, you can see the truck hauling down I-40.

The suspect eventually crashed near N.E. 10th and Stonewall.

Shortly after the chase, the suspect's truck caught fire.

The suspect was taken to a local hospital where is is expected to be OK.
