OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews were called to a northeast Oklahoma City business after someone became entangled in a machine Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters say someone was injured at MD Building Products in the 4000 block of N. Santa Fe around 2:45 p.m.

Fire crews received an emergency call to the facility after learning that an adult man got his jeans caught in one of the machines.

When firefighters arrived, he had already been freed from the machine but he had an “extremely significant” leg injury.

Sources tell KFOR that the victim’s leg was severed.

The man was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
