Drive-by shooting in N.W. Oklahoma City leaves 1 dead, 1 wounded

Deadly drive-by shooting near N.W. 2nd and Klein

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police have identified the victims killed and wounded in a drive-by shooting in northwest Oklahoma City.

Around 10 p.m. on May 7th, 42-year-old Charles Martin and 36-year-old Ernest Bennett were standing outside of an apartment complex near N.W. 2nd and Klein when a vehicle drove past them.

Police say as the vehicle drove by, one of the passengers inside the vehicle opened fire on the two men.

Both victims were injured.

Martin was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Bennett was also transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Authorities have not identified any suspects.
