OKLAHOMA CITY —New details were released after the body of a man was discovered in the Oklahoma River.

In March, police discovered the body of 22-year-old Robert Wayne Addison in the Oklahoma River near I-40 and Western Ave.

At the time, no evidence was found at the scene and Addison did not have any significant wounds on his body.

According to records from the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office, officials ruled Addison’s death an accidental drowning.

Investigators say he had methamphetamine in his system at the time of his death.
