HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - It was supposed to be a celebration to celebrate children's accomplishments, but several parents were issued criminal trespassing warnings.
On Friday, police and school security officers were called to James Dawson Elementary School after a fight broke out at the conclusion of a pre-k celebration.
Huntsville City Schools spokesperson Keith Ward told WHNT that five individuals were asked to leave the cafeteria when they got into a dispute.
However, they continued to fight in the school's parking lot.
As a result, the school was placed on lockdown and police were called.
The school issued criminal trespassing warnings to five people.
If they come back on campus, they can be arrested for trespassing.
