TISHOMINGO, Okla. – Soon after Miranda Lambert announced she is closing her Pink Pistol boutique in Tishomingo, Oklahoma after three years of business, her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, announced he purchased the property.

On Wednesday, Lambert stated in a press release that she is moving her boutique headquarters from Tishomingo to her hometown of Lindale, Texas.

“It feels full circle to have everything under one ‘roof’ basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale,” Lambert explained in the release. “I want to send a heartfelt thank you to all the employees who worked hard to help me bring the store in Tishomingo to life, as well as the patrons who came to experience the Pink Pistol and supported the store. Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home.”

“Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home,” she added.

Shortly after news of the store’s closure spread, Shelton revealed he purchased the property and has “a plan brewing.”

“As a resident of Tishomingo, I am very sorry that the Pink Pistol has decided to move its operations out of the area,” Shelton said in a statement to E! News. “We all as a community appreciate everything it has done for our town. As for the actual properties left behind…I was offered the opportunity to buy them and I have a plan brewing.”

Although Shelton confirmed he purchased the property, he has not gone into detail about what he plans to do with it.
