HOUSTON, Texas - Court documents relay the horrifying last moments of a Texas teenager's life.
Authorities began searching for 15-year-old Karen Perez after she didn't come home from school on Friday.
Friends and family members searched for Perez but couldn't find her anywhere.
When her family went to her boyfriend's home, he told them he did not know where she was.
The boy's father said, "Let's go find your girlfriend."
At that point, prosecutors say the boy told his father, "You won't find her. She is dead."
The father later went to police and told them he believed his son may have killed Perez.
Officials learned that Perez's boyfriend texted her on Friday, asking her skip school with him. When she told him she couldn't, prosecutors told CW39 that he allegedly threatened her in a text message, saying, "Skip with me or I'll kill you."
Police questioned another teen boy who skipped school with the couple. He led them to an abandoned apartment complex where Perez's body was found stuffed inside a kitchen cabinet.
Prosecutors say they arrested the girl's boyfriend and took possession of his cell phone, which allegedly had video of him sexually assaulting Perez.
Officials say Perez could be heard pleading for her life and her boyfriend simply said, "I told you."
The boyfriend was arrested on one count of murder.
