If you like doughnuts, it’s your lucky day!

Today is National Doughnut Day!

To celebrate, participating Krispy Kreme locations will give you a free doughnut of your choice today, no purchase necessary.

They are offering one per person until they run out.

Participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants are also celebrating.

If you purchase any beverage, you can get any free doughnut while supplies last.

National Doughnut Day got its start back in 1938 when the Salvation Army used doughnuts to raise money during the Great Depression.

It also commemorates the women who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.
